Please refer to my other issue Q39479 which I was not able to post reply to because apparently it is linked to a duplicate issue that has been closed.
I need help clarifying the steps to manually rebuild using my trial CodeGear C++ Builder IDE. For example I started with the XP Theme Manager and I copied the contents of both the packages and sources directory into a folder called "build". Then I tried to open dxThemeC11.bpk and got the error message attached.
Could you please help guide me to build your libraries properly, thanks.

Hi I-Min,
We'll answer your question soon. I see the problem, but I first need to consult with our developers. Thanks for your patience.

Serge
Hi I-Min,
It's necessary to prepare our BPK files prior to opening them in the C++Builder IDE. Here is a sample command:
"<Program Files>\Borland\CBuilder6\Bin\make.exe" -f"dxThemeC6.bpk" -B SEARCHPATH="<Program Files>\Developer Express.VCL\Library\CBuilder6"
You should do this for every DX package you need to compile.
Does this help?

Serge
The screenshot of the command line I used and the error I got
Hi, please see my last reply. If possible, I think the easiest is if I host Webex or something for you or developer there to watch and help me get this to work here. Thanks.
I-Min,
Thank you for the screenshot. I see that we've hit the same wall here: make.exe is also a command-line tool which doesn't work in a trial RAD Studio (notice the "Command line tools are not supported…" string on your screenshots).
I see only two ways out in this situation:

Hi Serge,
If you can please do route 2 for me that would be really greatly appreciated. What I need is ExpressQuntumGrid and everything covered under that purchase.
If we hit another wall down the line because of the trial version not fully functional, I will probably throw my hands and go back to discuss with CodeGear at that time.
Thanks,
I-Min,
I've sent you the ExpressQuantumGrid's libraries in a separate email message. Please keep me informed about your progress.
Thanks,
Serge
Hi Serge,
Progress on my side - got the download (many thanks), extracted to the folder location as installer would have, and tried adding the packages. All except the one noted in the attachment went through. Is that something that need to be resolved also?
Hopefully we are almost there.
Hi I-Min,
There seems to be something wrong in the settings of our C++Builder packages. I've created a new Bug Report on your behalf (Design-time C++Builder packages are declared as runtime ones), and our developers are looking for a solution. Just give us some time.
Thanks,
Serge
Hi I-Min,
I've attached recompiled libraries. Hope, they will help you achieve the desired result.
Thanks
Dimitros
Thanks, I have replaced the old ones with yours and it looks good.
You're welcome, I-Min. Please feel free to contact us in case of any difficulty. We are happy to help you at any time.
