[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T183473: ASPxGridView - Instant Search Panel in Detail Grid]
Hello.
I like the solution in "T183473v2.zip ".
But I want to achieve something else now. I would like the search of the master grid to look in every single detail grid of each row in the master grid and if the search finds a match in the detail grid, then only it should show the master rows.
Do you have any idea how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hello Petar,
Your task in not completely clear to me. As far as I understand it, you want to show all detail grids, filter them by some value, and, if one of the detail grids doesn't show any rows after filtering, you want to hide it and its parent row. Please review the attached project demonstrating how to implement such a solution. If I missed some details in your scenario, or didn't understand it correctly, please describe it in greater detail and provide me with some screenshots illustrating it.
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Vova
Hey Vovo,
I do have exactly same type of problem, i am using tedit to find the text, that is present in master grid, also, if few of the master grids have the detail grid, and the text that we are looking is not present in a perticular mater grid but present in its detail grid, then how can i show those detail grid rows, Also i am working on Delphi, please give me a solution in Delphi.
Hello,
Since this question is related to a different platform, I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (T681456: How to search in master and detail grids). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.
