PictureEdit - The image background is black when DirectX is enabled

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T590737: How to enable DirectX in PictureEdit]
The background is black instead of transparent.

    Hello Eaton,
    Thank you for pointing out this issue to us. I managed to reproduce this behavior with an image that has transparent areas if PictureEdit’s BackColor is set to Color.Transparent. I have also passed the issue to our developers for further research. We will update this ticket once we have any news.

      We have also noticed that the issue returned in version 18.1.3. Please stay tuned. I have passed this ticket to our developers. We'll notify you once we make any progress.

      We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.

      Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for beta versions and updates that are about to be released.
