Real count of records in the ASPxGridView even when a grouping is applied in case of "All" page size option

created 8 years ago

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T172561: Add a capability to display a real count of records in the ASPxGridView even when a grouping is applied]
The provided solution found here: ASPxGridView - How to return the number of visible data rows excluding group rows works except for when you select "All" for the page size option. How do we fix the problem when "All" is selected?

    Hello Sebastien,

I have tested this solution using the ASPxGridView - How to return the number of visible data rows excluding group rows example and it all works fine. I used the same settings as my colleague in the above comment. Would you please modify the attached sample to illustrate the issue in action? Or, it would be a great help if you provide us with your workable sample project. I will research it and do my best to help you.

      Hi,

I was refering to the update regarding the possibility to configure de AspxGridView directly to ignore the group rows in the total.  Like Lex explained in the mentionned ticket, this was not planned at the time to provide a permanent fix.  I thought that the current ticket was also used by DevExpress to provide a permanent fix to this issue.  Sorry for my misunderstanding.

Yes, Sebastian, you are right. In this ticket, we were discussing a different issue. And the possibility in which you are interested is not implemented. Feel free to contact us if you have more questions.
