How to get the ToolbatExport control in version 17.1

created 7 years ago

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM KA18677: Where can I get demo source code folder, installed assemblies, or source code on machines with different OS versions]
can you please update above list for the latest releases (i.e v17.x)?

I'm looking for the ToobarExport control (UserControls/ToolbarExport.ascx), but cannot find it.

I suggest you refer to the following KB article - What is the "ToolbarExport" control or why does the "Element 'ToolbarExport' is not a known element" error occur. It illustrates how to use this control in your application.
Also, I found the toolbar user control in our demo source code. Please see the attachment.

I would also like to note that starting with version 17.1 we have implemented the new Toolbar for ASPxGridView. You can customize it as required and export the grid from it. Please refer to the Customization - Toolbar demo for more details,

      Hi,

It looks like you have forgotten to add the ASPxGridViewExporter component to your page. Please try to add it. This should solve the issue. See my picture. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Great, didn't realize Exporter was a control. Thoght t was a class or a methos.
Actually, i had already added the ASPxGridviewExporter from a previous testing. But it had a different ID than "Exporter".

        It works now, thanks alot!
