Ribbon - Customization Form - A bar manager's SaveTo~/LoadFrom~ methods do not persist subitems created at runtime

created 10 years ago

Hi,
I am having a problem when recalling a ribbon layout from a previously saved ini file. I cannot get the TdxBarSubItems to display when the file is restored. Please see the attached video.

I would appreciate you looking into this asap as my applications configuration depends on this. I have not marked the issue as urgent as I have a few days other work to attend, but it will become urgent by the weekend

As usual, thank you for your help. If there is anything I can provide you with then please let me know.

Robert.

    Hello Robert,

I have reproduced similar behavior on my machine and forwarded this ticket to our developers for research. The issue seems to be difficult, so it will require us some time to find a solution. The problem is that the TdxBarSubItem customization mechanism is different than other items' customization to avoid possible conflicts with recursive links. So, we cannot just make it work as for other items. We appreciate your understanding.

      Hi Paulo,
Do you reckon you will be able to find a solution?
