Focused Row Key not selecting when grouped by null value in a remote store

Lets say I have a set of data like this:

ID | Name | Email
1 | "A" | "a@gmail.com"
2 | "B" | NULL
3 | "C" | NULL

And I group by Email, so I have two groups ("a@gmail.com" and NULL).

Now, I if i were to set the focused Row key to ID = 1, the grid will auto expand the group "a@gmail.com", and select the record with ID = 1. THis is working as expected.

However, If I were to set the focused row Key to ID = 2 or ID = 3, the grid will fail to auto expand the group "NULL". The intended behavior is to expand the NULL'd Email group, and select the respective either ID = 2 or ID = 3 record.

How would I go about fixing this issue?

    Hi Rohan,

    Thank you for your patience.

    I managed to reproduce the issue and created a separate public bug report to research it further: DataGrid does not expand a corresponding group row when the focusedRowKey is set.

    We will update the report once we have information to share.
