Support for Unicode characters in RichEditControl

created 11 years ago

Ọ̀yọ́ Ọ́yọ́

Ẹ̀yọ́ Ẹ́yọ́

It’s supposed to be displayed
exactly as above.

It works fine in the default
RichTextBox but not in your RichEditControl which I will love to use.
RichEditControl also support few Unicode fonts
compared to RichTextBox.
Solution please?

Hi Ayobami.
The XtraRichEdit control does not support this functionality at the moment. We will consider implementing it in the future. Add the Add full support for script languages ticket to your Favorites to be notified of our progress with this item.

      Hello Devexpress!
      Is this feature now included?

Can I do this correctly in your control now?

          Hi Ayobami,

The situation is the same. Certain symbols cannot be properly rendered in RichEditControl. However, I copied and pasted the strings you posted in your previous comment to RichEditControl, and it seems to display them properly even after saving and reopening a document. Please review the attachment.
