NavBar and Skins

created 11 years ago

Hi,
I have read many things about how to apply skin to NavBar in this site. However it didn't solve my problem. I could not even run the published samples, maybe because I'm using an old version of DevExpress (v2011 vol 2.3). Basically I don't know how to apply the skins once I didn't find the LookAndFeel property or anything else like this. Could you, please, send me some sample for this version?
Thank you,
Edgard Trevisan

    Hello,
Would you please provide us with a sample project to demonstrate the issue and more detailed information about the functionality you are trying to implement? We will examine it and do our best to find a solution.

      Hi Mikhail,
Attached you can find a project sample. I could not apply skins to BarManager and NavBar as well. I have tried but I didn't find a way. Could you, please, give me some tip?
      Thank you,
      Edgard Trevisan

      Hello,
It is necessary to change the TdxNavBar.ViewStyle to SkinExplorerBarView or other similar one. You can read about this property in the "TdxCustomNavBar.ViewStyle" help topic.
I've slightly modified your sample. Please take a look at the attachment.

          Hi Mikhail,
I tried to compile the example you sent but the units "MadExcept", "madLinkDisAsm", "madListHardware", "madListProcesses" and "madListModules" were not in the file. I removed them from the project and so I could compile it. I think these units really not necessary for the example, but I could not get the expected result. Could you take a look on the attached file and clarify where is my mistake, please?
          Thank you in advance!

            Hello,
I recommend that you update your copy of our components to the latest available build (VCL v2011 vol 2.3). We applied some fixes, so this problem can be already fixed.
