Create the cumulative chart and strange legend format.

created 12 years ago

Hi.
I have some date in the PivotControl.
Period | Income
1-Mon | 100
2-Tue | 100
3-Wed | 50
4-Thu | 50
5-Fri | 200
6-Sat | 300
7-Sun | 400
where Period has the Value format DateTime "d-ddd".
I get http://screencast.com/t/06GB44MFz
First question, Why X axis is has such strange legend?
Is it possible to create cumulative chart? I mean I'd like to see 100, 200 (100 + 100), 250 (100 + 100 + 50), 300, 500, 800, 1200 on the Y axis.
Thanks in advance.

It is not quite clear to me why chart shows data in that format. Perhaps you are using TimeSpan values in the Period field instead DateTime? Would you please provide a small sample project to illustrate this behavior?

To show values summarized in the PivotGridControl, use the RunningTotal functionality. If you wish to show values summarized only in the ChartControl, handle the PivotGridControl.CustomChartDataSourceRows event. In this event handler, you can calculate summarized values manually and provide these values for the ChartControl. Attached is a small sample project that illustrates this approach.

Use the Series.CrosshairLabelPattern property to customize this text. For example, you can use the following pattern - "{A} : {V:N2}".

Thanks. Yes that works correctly but only for CrosshairLabel.
For marker visible label I have to use Series.Label.PointOptions.ValueNumericOptions.
