Hi,
The side bar customisation form is displaying ampersands (&) that are in the caption name.
They should be underlined, or not shown at all.
For example, add the Paste standard action, it shows as &Paste.

Hello,
Am I right that you mean the left frame of the customization form, but not the item list at the right side? I think that the end-user capability to set custom hot keys is a valuable feature.
See attached pic. The ampersand is visible in the left frame and right frame, but disappears when you add it to the side bar (becomes and underline)
It just needs to be displayed without the ampersand in the customisation form.
The end-user can't control the text in there (unless like me you have implemented a rename option), so not sure what you mean by end user capability.
I'm not saying strip it out completely, I'm just sating don't display it. It affects type to locate as well, making it harder to find the option.
Thank you for your reply. It looks like the bug in our controls. The end-user should have the capability of editing the text in the right frame of the customization form and this capability is available when I compile my demo with Delphi 7. However, in later IDEs this functionality seems to be unavailable. I have created a separate ticket to fix this behavior (see the Customization Form - Item names cannot be edited if the 'uses' clause includes the dxNavBarAdvancedCustomization unit ticket). Does this capability change anything in your initial request?
Hmm, I think I'd have to see it in action before I could comment. It sure looks wrong at the moment…
OK. Lets wait for a fix.
