Ok, it's a good start, but it still needs some work.
Here are my suggestions:
- In the FormLayout Editor, allow me to drag and drop controls around like I can do in the Windows Layout control. Why aren't you using your own Layout Control for the designer? Having to use the Tree to move stuff around is a HUGE pain and I might as well just stick with the built in web designer.
Right now the designer is very frustrating to use. Especially with tabs, so far I've only be able to add ONE control per Tab?

Allow me to insert ANY control from the tool box , not just DevExpress controls from the designer. In fact I don't see all your controls either. Where is the CallbackPanel, AspxGridView, etc…?
-
The width of the controls should be set automatically based on the number of columns the item spans and how wide the label is. Right now if I have a textbox that spans 3 columns, the width only winds up be 1/3 of the total width.
Basically the Designer needs a complete overhaul to make it more useful. Right now it's only a minor improvement over throwing a HTML table on the page and adding my controls myself.
Forgot one… If you hit ESC in the dialog and you've made changes, those changes are lost. You should ask if they want to close the designer.
