In Web UI, how can I format layout groups' caption (visible) in detail views? For example, the font size is too large, and it's better to change the foreground color.

Do you want to make it conditionally or permanently? In the latter case it is better to change it via CSS. I elaborated more on this at Default.aspx and CSS modification. I hope you find this information helpful.
