ASPxUploadControl - The Browse button does not work with Firefox 10+

created 13 years ago

The "Browse" button on the ASPxUploadControl is not working properly under Firefox 10.0.2.
To replicate, it doesn't work on some of your demo's either:

http://demos.devexpress.com/ASPxperienceDemos/UploadControl/CustomProgressPanel.aspx
I also tried upgrading to 2011 vol 2 but it still doesn't work.

        Hi Ben,
        I think you will be pleased to know that our developers have already resolved this problem in the context of ticket B212418 ("Firefox 10 - Popup/DropDown elements of ASPxComboBox, ASPxDateEdit, etc. appear at the incorrect position when being used inside ASPxPopupControl"). You can request a patched build right now rather than wait for the next maintenance update. For more details about this service, please read Julian's blog post: Getting your fix: the DevExpress way.
        Thanks,
        Marion

            Hello Darren,
            This issue sounds strange.
            We have tried to reproduce this issue on our side but failed (see the attached video).
            It looks like some other things are involved in this issue, which I have not taken into account. Would you please clear browser cache data (Clear the cache - Delete temporary Internet files to fix common website issues) and check whether on not the issue goes away?
            If the issue persists, create a separate ticket in our Support Center and describe the issue you have encountered in greater detail:
            - What does the issue look like? If possible, make a detailed screencast that illustrates how to reproduce this issue from scratch. For example, use the Jing tool for this purpose;
            - If this issue is browser-specific, specify the browser family/version:
                - Detailed information about the browser: make a screenshot of the "Help -> About" dialog.
            Your time and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

                Hi,
