Page Builder - Incorrect data is shown in the first detail record when sorting is enabled for a DetailReportBand

created 16 years ago

I am experiencing the same problem as described in bug report B135295. I Have one detail-report and there I want to sort the records by a string-field in ascending order. Everything is fine and the sorting seems to work except for the first row. The first row displays a duplicate data-record - i.e. the same record is displayed twice in the details of the subreport, but the record is only present once in the datasource. If the sort-order is changed to descending, then everything seems to work fine and each record is only present once.
Steps to Reproduce:
I have attached a sample application. It contains real-world data and the report-file (in the bin/debug directory). The report and the Data is loaded in Form1.OnCreateControl. That ́s it - In the Report-Designer (Form1), I have added a Button "View DataSet" in the MenuBar - Click it to explore the dataset on your screen - you can also modify column-values there. The enclosed ZIP-File contains an IMAGE-Directory with detailled illustrations.

We have installed the provided bugfix (DXperience-9.2.9.9315.exe) but it seems the problem still exists. If we try out the attached sample application, we still have the wrong data in the first linked! row. Please not that the field we sort by is a linked field, not a field from the DetailReportBand ́s immediate data-table.
