How to validate controls on a tab page

Description:
I use the XtraTabControl. I want to prevent focus being switched to another tab if editors on a tab page are not filled with the correct data. How to implement this functionality?

Answer:
You should use the Validating event of an XtraTabPage or the SelectedPageChanging event of XtraTabControl to prevent a user from leaving a given tab if the data entered is incomplete.
Also, you can use the DXValidationProvider component to accomplish this task. Please refer to corresponding examples to learn more about these approaches.
