How to have several VCL builds on the same machine

created 4 years ago (modified 4 years ago)

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM Q288030: Can DevExpress products co-exist and be used on a single machine or project?]

Hello,

This is an old article, but I hope comments are still reviewed…

We have now the latest express grid for use in our also new delphi 10.4.
All our products are still in Delphi 2009 with an old devexpress installed.

After installing the latest version of devexpress, my delphi 2009 is broken!
Searching here I have read 2 versions can coexist.

How can I solve this?

Hello,

Please take a look at the K18518: How to have several build versions installed on one machine Knowledge Base article. It describes different ways how you can have several installed VCL builds on the same machine.

      Hello,

The latest version of our controls that supports Delphi 2009 IDE is v2011 vol 1.10.

If I look in the downloads for our license
The numbering is different, is this download "v11.2.9 - Released on 05 Apr 2013" ?

The "2011 vol 1.10" version is the VCL 11.1.10 version of our controls:

V11.2.9 does not support Delphi 2009 IDE. You can see the list of supported IDE on the DownloadManager page:
