TestCafe - Symbols are typed in the reverse order on entering an e-mail address in Chrome

created 5 years ago

Hi
I have testing TestCafe on Chrome.
Mail address is typing in reverse in Chrome.
Can't open https://designer.geneu.net. After login, no action is taken.

Didn't stop the process when it finds an error.

We have addressed the issue described in this ticket and will include a fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before official release, request a hotfix by clicking the appropriate version link.

Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for betas/updates set for release within a week.

    Additional information:

Please note that TestCafe Studio doesn't record the Caret position property of the Type text action anymore for the email and numbers inputs in Firefox and Chromium-based browsers, since the selectionStart, selectionEnd, and selectionDirection properties are deprecated by these browsers. If your scenario depends on the caret position, you can use the Test Editor to specify it manually. The same is true for the Click action. Please, refer to this topic for more details.
