TestCafe Studio cannot start on Windows if registry editing is disabled

When TestCafe Studio starts for the first time after installation, the splash screen hangs and the following error is thrown:

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process.
Uncaught exception:
TypeError: Cannot read property "authWindow" of null

This issue occurs on Windows if registry editing is disabled.

We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.
