[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T624306: Visual Studio 2017 performance is slow if a complex page with numerous editors is saved on the Source view]
I am using the latest version, and the saving problem is absolutely terrible. I am very close to uninstalling it all. One form I have takes over 9 minutes to save, and this is on a very fast machine.

Hello James,
Would you please clarify whether you are using v19.1.3? Please also specify exactly what VS update version you use? It will be of great help if you send us a problematic page and guide us with the steps that we should perform to reproduce the issue. Once we manage to do so, we will research such a slowness thoroughly. Your time and cooperation are appreciated.
I was on VS2017 until last week. I thought perhaps the performance would be better on 2019, but there is no difference. I see numerous people with the same problem, so I decided to just live with it, but it really has become unbearable.
Windows 10 1903 18362.145
VS2019 16.1.2
CodeRush 19.1.4
4.1 ghz I9, 64GB ram, running on an SSD
EF6/.Net 4.8/WinForms project using DevExpress WinForms controls
How can I securely send you my project?
Thanks
Jim
Hello Jim,
You can make this ticket private so this conversation will be between you and our Support Team. If this project is large (though we need to see only a problematic page), you can upload it to our FTP server (I'll send you credentials).
If your company policy requires you to sign an NDA with us before sharing any information, please feel free to send an NDA form to our CTO Julian Bucknall (julianb@devexpress.com).
