If it does randomly highlight the region and you start typing (or press the space bar to expand which is what I normally do) the entire thing gets deleted:

I have reproduced the problem and recorded a screencastwith my steps.
As far as I understand the deletion takes place because the painted region can be selected while CodeRush Classic prevented this behavior.
Would you please review the screencastand let me know whether or not I correctly understand the problem?
