We have added your request to our backlog, however, I cannot give you any estimates on its implementation because we rely on the Roslyn project model and it doesn't have good support for such configurations yet.

It's been three years now. With the current portrait of the .NET universe which relies a lot on libraries targeted at multiple runtimes, the necessity to run tests in all of these target runtimes is mandatory.
