XML Doc Painter and Comment painter in Code Rush for Roslyn

created 8 years ago

I recently had to start using Visual Studio 2017 and so had to install Code Rush for Roslyn.

I am extremely surprised the CRR has so many Classic features missing,

XML Doc Painter and Comment painter (XML Doc Painter is more important)

I have spotted that if you install CRR in VS2015 (along with Classic) Even though the CODERUSH menu > About shows CRR 17.1 it looks like its using both version because the XML Doc Painting is working?!

Also the Member Icons shows on the left (coming from Classic) and on the Right (Coming from CRR with no option to set which side) and the icon looks different for each

In your screencast you can clearly see that sometimes the Member icon does not get shown when scrolling.
it was more obvious for my project but its intermittent since i closed the forms
I have found how i can reproduce
If you open a solution with previously open code window then the Member icons are drawn for the visible members but if you scroll up or down then they are not drawn, toggle the display member icons to re-paint them but you can scroll away and again they are not drawn for the new visible members.
Close the code window and re-open fixes it, although sometimes a member icon will still not get drawn but far less often

Further to my reproducing, if you open VS 2017 then click to load a recent solution , it appears to be ok
However, if you right click on the VS2017 shortcut and select a project to load it has my symptoms of not drawing the member icons correctly
      Please review my screencast here
