ASPxFileManager - How to modify some CSS styles applied to the control

created 8 years ago

Hello
are there any style files for aspxfilemanager available. We included a filemanager control to a bigger project from us and our styles are influencing the apperiance of the control.
On the demos you can change the style and themes of the ASPxFileManager but you do not get a css file out of it.
Are there some css files  specially for ASPxFileManager available.

I started to add style information to our source for filemanager but it is not easy to find what is needed to be set.

thx Georg

Hello,

In general, we don't provide special CSS files for changing the style of our controls. If you need to customize the ASPxFileManager appearance or change some styles of a certain theme, I recommend you use the ASPxThemeBuilder tool. See the Modifying Themes article. This component allows you to research CSS rules applied to the control in a certain theme and change them according to your needs.
In addition, I would like to note that you can inspect styles applied to our ASPxFileManager control manually as suggested in the How to inspect CSS rules article. This approach will help you change styles that may conflict with other CSS styles used in your custom project.
Let us know if you need further assistance. If you have further difficulties with some styles' conflict with ASPxFileManager, send us the problematic styles that corrupt it for further research.
