CodeRush Roslyn - Spell Checker displays errors in aspx-files

created 8 years ago

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T446890: CodeRush Roslyn: how to disable warnings for ASP.NET and/or aspx-files]
Hello,

as the title states, how can I disable CodeRush Roslyn for the ASP-parts of projects, so that no warnings occure anymore.
It's really annoying and not helpful… :-/ (see attached picture)

Only the CRRSP01 errors remain…
In "Options -> Editor -> All Languages -> Spell Checker" I disabled also in "Identifiers":
- Public members
- Private members
–> now the errors are gone.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for taking the time and sending us additional information.
Are the error reports located in the aspx files or aspx.vb files (it is not visible in the image you sent us)?
I'm trying to reproduce the same scenario but without success. All error reports I noticed are from the code files.

It's only when the "aspx" file is open. The "aspx.vb" file (code behind file) is ok. ;-)

        Michail,
I've downloaded the ASP project containing a big number of aspx files.
I see that SpellChecker checks only the aspx.vb files and I do not see reports from the aspx files.

Another thing I noticed is that when I open aspx files, reports from the related aspx.vb file are displayed in the Error List and then disappear. I think it relates to the specifics of how Visual Studio code analysis works in aspx files.

I've recorded a video illustrating my attempts to reproduce the problem.
