Hello,

The ReportDesignerTypeDescriptionProvider.RemoveProvider() method call only adds the "Add New DataSource" item to the DataSource's drop-down menu in XtraReport (please review the attached screencast).
It is not possible to use a custom data source in the standard XAF report wizard.

      Hello Andrew L,

Are there others way to use a custom  data source in the standard XAF report wizard?

      What should I do?

      thanks

        Alex,

It is not possible to use a custom data source with the standard XAF report wizard.
You can show the default XtraReport's wizard or create a custom one by using the NewXafReportWizardShowing event.
This approach is demonstrated in the How to: Implement a Custom Report Class help article.
