Scrollbar elements are not hidden after the PivotGridControl size is modified in certain situations

hide dxpivotgrid scroll bars

created 9 years ago (modified 9 years ago)

Hi,

Is there a style or property I can set that will hide both horizontal and vertical scroll bars on the pivot grid?  It totally messes up the layout of my screen and it is completely unnecessary.  If I maximize the app before I populate the grid with data, then the grid does not display the scroll bars.  If I click on the restore down button or move the app to a different screen, the scroll bars show up and doesn't disappear even when I maximize the app.

Thanks.

The DXPivotGrid control does not provide a way to hide the scrollbars manually. This task was already discussed in the T214174: Hide automatic scrollbars in WPF Pivot Grid thread.
I am afraid it is unclear to me how to replicate the problem on my side. Would you please prepare a test project demonstrating the issue? We will test it on our side and do our best to find a solution for you.

That thread does not present a solution.  Regardless, how do I override the behavior?  Can you please show me how to disable the automatic scroll bars.

Here's a sample project.  My screen resolution is 1680x1050.

        1. Maximize the window
        2. Click the button to populate the grid
        3. Click on the restore down button (scroll bars should appear at this point)
        4. Maximize the window again (scroll bars will stay visible)

Thank you for posting your sample project. We agree that it is necessary to improve the scrollbar element behavior in this scenario. I have registered a separate ticket at:

Scrollbar elements are not hidden after modifying the PivotGridControl size in certain situations.

We will continue working on this issue and will keep you informed of our progress. Your patience is appreciated.
