DataGrid - How to disable master detail expand button for some rows

created 9 years ago

I am using a master detail grid. However some of my "master" rows do not have details. I want to disable expand button for them based on a column value (like if (HasDetails column is true) or something similar).

Is it possible to do this ?

Hello Murat,

Please refer to the How to show expand button only on items which have children ticket where we discussed a similar issue.

Update:
In this case, please use the following code:
http://jsfiddle.net/uw9m74c8/73/

JavaScript
onCellPrepared: function(e) { if(e.rowType === "data" && e.column.command === "expand") { if(Condition) { e.cellElement.removeClass("dx-datagrid-expand"); e.cellElement.empty(); } }
