[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T300263: DXRibbonWindow cannot be minimized/maximized if it was created in code behind]
Dear Nadya,
Thank you for the information.
I made a theme based on a working version. I upgraded using your tool to a version which apparently has a flaw in it. You release a new fixed version and somehow I cannot upgrade my theme to the fixed version.
This … is not my fault. I consider this an issue on your side.
However, thank you again for you assistance in the matter. For me, the issue is resolved :-)
How to upgrade a custom theme to the current version after a hotfix was installed

Hello,
Yes, you are right; at this time, there is no way to upgrade from a minor version to the corresponding hotfix (from 15.1.7 to 15.1.7.x). However, thank you for your suggestion. We will consider if it's possible to improve our ThemeEditor and allow users to upgrade themes to hotfixes. We have released our new version 15.1.8, which includes all the corresponding hotfixes. You can upgrade to this version, and in this case, you will be able to upgrade your custom theme to version 15.1.8 and use it.
Thanks,
Kirill
Hello,
Would you describe the issue in greater detail? What exceptions were thrown when you tried to upgrade your custom theme? Also, is it possible for you to provide us with your custom theme source?
Thanks,
Kirill
I'm very sorry if I sound blunt, I appreciate your effort in this really. But this really isn't a separate issue to me.
Anyway, your WPF theme upgrade thing simply doens't allow upgrades to minor versions (like hotfixes).
If your theme is version 15.1.7.0 it will not offer you a version to upgrade to.
So upgrading from 15.1.x.x to 15.1.y.y is supported, but upgrading from 15.1.x.x to 15.1.x.y simply isn't.
