Win10 IoT and Raspberry PI 2

created 9 years ago

Hello,

For a project which involves the Raspberry Pi 2 and Windows 10 IoT we like to use charts.
I did see some cool controls for Windows 10 apps, but I was wondering if they would work with the limited .NET Core version of Windows 10 IoT and the Raspberry Pi's ARM processor.
Do you have some code examples for me?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Sure, our Windows 10 App Controls are compatible with the Windows 10 IoT and can be used in universal applications that may be launched under Raspberry Pi. For evaluation purposes, you can use our demos that are redistributed with Windows 10 App Controls. You will find them in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\DevExpress Demos 15.1\UWP Controls\FeatureDemo\CS folder. Note that it is necessary to rebuild the solution in the DEBUG ARM mode to run demos under the Raspberry Pi.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Michael

      Hello,
      thanks for your response.
I tried some charts and it was successfull.
Now I want to generate an image from the chart. But the Universal Windows method (RenderTargetBitmap) doesn't seem to work…
Is there a function in DevExpress Windows 10 to generate an image from a chart?
      Thanks in advance
