[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T228799: Adding and removing columns in a TreeList causes display artifact]
Hi Andrey,
I'm picking up this task now, and I've modified your sample to illustrate the problem. Note that this is a problem with the TreeListControl, not the GridControl, as specified in the original message above. It seems that this only happens with TreeDerivationMode="HierarchicalDataTemplate", and only when modifying columns subsequent to initial binding. When you run the sample, click Set to add additional problems then play with resizing the window and you should see the artefact in question - it looks like the fixed column separator but floats over the grid. It only seems to be added for visible rows, which suggests to me that virtualisation could be a factor. Anyway, hopefully this is sufficient for you to dig deeper!
Cheers,
Karli
The vertical separator is unexpectedly shown in certain cases

Hi Karli,
I have tested the issue and it looks like it is fixed in 14.2 and higher versions. Please clarify what version you use. Would you please update your version to 15.1?
Hi Ilya,
Unfortunately, it seems this is still an issue - apologies for making you think this was solved! It seems my previous test project didn't quite get to the root of the issue, so I've attached a new one for you to look at. If you click the default button, the treelist is fine. However, clicking on Banded shows the strange lines, which persist when you return to default. Note that this only seems to happen with a fixed left column .
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Karli
Hi Karli,
To process your recent post more efficiently, I created a separate ticket on your behalf: T346725: Vertical separator is shown in TeeListControl after adding bands.
Thanks,
Alexander
