TcxSplitter - The "Error reading <Splitter>.InvertDirection" exception occurs at runtime in certain cases

I have found the problematic component. The bug occurs when using cxSplitter with the properties AlignSplitter = salRight and InvertDirection = True. The application throws the following exception:
Error reading cxSplitter2.InvertDirection: System Error. Code: 5.
Access is denied
Attached below example of how to simulate the problem. Note that the Form2 CreateForm from project Service is throwing the aforementioned exception.
Also, I noticed that it is not in any system that this error is occurring. Unfortunately I could not identify the operating system requirements for simulate the problem.

I was not able to reproduce the problem by running the Service project with Delphi 7 and the latest version of our controls (VCL 14.2.2). We have performed many modifications to the cxSplitter unit in recent months, so I suggest that you try your project with the latest (14.2.2) version. Perhaps, the issue is already fixed there.
However, I also assume that I cannot reproduce the issue because my system does not meet your scenario. What OS are you using?
Should I do anything special to reproduce the problem?

We're using the 14.2.2 version and has't been fixed yet. Unfortunately I don't know specify exactly what is needed to simulate the problem. It's just execute the project that I've send to you. Here we are running a Windows Server 2008 with all updates installed.

In some tests I did, I realized that if any of the following lines of cxSplitter.pas is removed, it works perfectly:

I am afraid that our research did not give us an answer on why this problem sporadically occurs in your system. The only possible solution we can offer for now is to modify the TcxCustomSplitter.StopSizing function in the following manner:

Although we still cannot get the exception on our side, this code might help. If it does not help, would you please provide us with the call stack information demonstrating the problem? It would be useful if you link a report tool (e.g., MadExcept) to your project because such tools provide the most comprehensive information.
