RichEdit - Some styles are lost if you create DOCX in MS Word for the desktop, open and save it with RichEdit, and then open the resulting file in MS Word for the web

created 7 days ago (modified 7 days ago)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run the project from the attachment
  2. Open the Original.docx file
  3. Save it as Saved.docx without making changes
  4. Open the Original.docx in the browser MS Word
  5. Open the Saved.docx in the browser MS Word

Expected results:

Both Original.docx and Saved.docx look the same

Current results:

In the Saved.docx file table's width is changed from 6.49" to 5". Also Paragraph's Spacing After property is changed from 8 pt to 0 pt.

Additional information:

Both files look the same in the desktop version. Also if you adjust width and paragraph spacing in the browser version, download it, open in RichEdit, save and upload to the browser version again then the Spacing After and table width remain correct (8 pt and 6.49" respectively)
