Filtering - Make it possible to define and use custom functions in the criteria

created 15 years ago

Something like: "'@CurrentUser'.Roles[Name='Administrators'].Count>0"
Proposed Solution:
This feature would be very similar to what is already provided by FunctionOperators and XAF's readonly parameters.
For example, I would have the capability to define a custom function that would access the currently logged user and his/her properties (e.g. Name, Roles, etc.) and that will be evaluated in the criteria:
    bool IsUserInRole(string username, string roleName)
bool IsUserInRole(object userId, object roleId), etc.
