How to enable the ribbon when editing a RichTextControl in the Report Designer

Hello Dmitry,
I'm using reports in XAF.
Point is, i use mailmerge features in my report, i also include references to properties inside the richtext control. So i have to have access to the fields etc to design my reports. How can i enable the XtraReports Formatting Toolbar in the XAF Report Designer when i'm editing a richtext control?

I launched the XAF MainDemo and was able to format the text within the XRRichText control by the corresponding "Font" ribbon page group. I've attached a screenshot for your reference. Would you please provide us with a screenshot\screencast\sample project demonstrating this issue in action?

That's not the RichText Ribbon, but the standard formatting tools for labels etc. Please see the differences between your attachment and mine.

If you're talking about such page groups for the XRRichText control as demonstrated in the screenshot - unfortunately, our End-User Report Designer doesn't support this functionality. As a workaround to this issue, I suggest you place the XtraRichEdit control into the form as demonstrated in the How to create a PropertyEditor based on the XtraRichEdit control Code Example to provide a way to customize rich text formatting. Then, you'll be able to save the RTF document and load it into the XRRichText control, for example, using the XRRichText.LoadFile method.

Thank you for the info. In fact, i've used the mentioned approach in one of my projects. I'm looking for a solution though, where i can edit the rich text and have access to the field list (preferably drag and drop).
