created 11 years ago

Hello DX,

I'm using a RichTextControl in my reports. can't format this text with the usual ribbon, because it does not show up when i enter the rich text.

How can i accomplish this?

Hello Willem,
The XRRichText control is intended for displaying RTF data in a report. It means that you can load a complete RTF document into this control or bind it to the RTF field in your data source. If you want to format the text within the XRRichText control, you can use the XtraReports Formatting Toolbar in Visual Studio (it is demonstrated in the mentioned documentation article).
Drop me a line if you need further assistance.
Thanks

      Hello Willem,
At present our suite doesn't provide a way to implement this functionality, but I agree that it makes sense. I've registered a separate thread regarding this functionality: XtraReports - End-User Designer - Provide extended capabilities to format XRRichText content. Please add it to your favorites to be notified of our progress.
Now it is only possible to achieve this goal using the workaround I've suggested above.
Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
      Thanks

        I added it.
        Thanks.
