Print A0 and A1 paper size using Report Suite

created 12 years ago

Hi,

I'm using Report Viewer to view my server reports using DevExpress reporting services.
In the Report Viewer > Page Setup I want to enable the user to select paper size A0 and A1 and I didn't found them.

So I need to fix this issue as they are standard templates and very critical for the user, please guide me how to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Elewa,
Please confirm that the required page size is accessible when you open the Print -> Printer Preferences -> Page Setup dialog associated with your printer. We also provide the Print via Pdf option, which allows you to use the Adobe Reader UI to send your report to a printer and configure the paper size.

These page sizes are not shown in Page Setup, I need to know if they are not supported or there are anyone from the existing sizes equal to them?

Thank you for your clarification. Currently, the XtraReports Suite does not contain A0 and A1 paper kinds in the list of pre-defined paper kinds. As an immediate solution please set the PaperKind property to the Custom value and define the paper size of the report manually.
BTW: Would you please describe the task you are trying to resolve by using the XtraReports Suite and paper with A0 format?

        Hi Mohamed,
Our developers investigated this issue and found out this behavior is by design. The XtraReports Suite uses standard PaperKind Enumeration to display pre-defined paper kinds in the drop down control. However, this enumeration does not contains the A0 and A1 paper kind.
As, I mentioned above, please set the PaperKind property to the Custom value and define the paper size of the report manually to avoid this issue.
        Thanks,
        Elliot
