How to configure DXProxy to work behind proxy/firewall enterprise structure

created 12 years ago

Hi,

I would like to know how is the infrastructure needed to make the dxproxy work correctly in a company that works with proxy and firewall protection.

Actually the dxproxy only works if the computer has direct internet connection.

I believe that are some ports that need to be open for conection and fowarded to internal machines.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. DXProxy uses the 8000 port. To solve the problem, make sure that your firewall does not block outbound connections to this port.

      Rubens,
      Let me clarify:
Client proxy is running in the Debug mode in Visual Studio. This client connects to the "cloud" via 80 port and registers ApplicationId in the "cloud" and keep this connection alive. Your browser connects to the "cloud" via 8000 port, the "cloud" sends a request to the client via 80 port. The client sends request to a local IIS where your application is running. IIS sends a request to the browser in the reverse order: IIS -> Client proxy -> Cloud(80) -> Browser(8000). The exception you have described means that there is no registered ApplicationId that equals "Appbfac5eda8f60446485425518616ef7f7". It means that something is wrong with 80 port. Probably this port is blocked by your firewall.

        Guys!
Was having problems with the scan of my Courier service try scan qrcode in my application. According to the response of the support would be problem in our firewall port.
Today I am testing at home and the door release and still shows 404 error when trying to use the scan.
My leader charged a emergency position on this issue because apparently it was only in my service but it seems that it is a system problem.
