For security reasons, custom SQL queries specified by an end-user can now contain only SELECT statements by default. This restriction is applied to the Data Source Wizard of the Report Designer for Windows Forms when custom query editing is enabled.
You can provide custom query validation logic to the Report Designer for Windows Forms by handling the XRDesignMdiController.ValidateCustomSql event.
