When using the 'Export to PDF' feature from a report preview, Korean Characters in a field with Font 'Trebuchet MS, 8pt' do not save correctly (see attached, 'Title:' field). HOWEVER when this same font is used in a rich text field, it does work correctly (see attached Specs field). Changing the field font to 'Arial Unicode MS' does work as noted in your KB article Q319006.
My problem is we have well over 150 reports containing 1000's of fields ALL with a consistient font of 'Trebuchet MS' which is a recommended font for web sites, etc. We have created and sold a Korean language pack for our application and now the site is reporting that saving reports as PDF (for e-mailing) is not working.
Please advise when this problem will be resolved. I have your workaround, but it would be 100s of hours to change all of our standard reports.
Thanks!

Hi Ken,
Thank you for contacting us. I am afraid we cannot do anything to fix this issue. The Trebuchet MS font does not support Korean characters. Thus, it simply does not have all necessary glyphs to display Korean text in PDF. Moreover, you cannot even change Korean characters to the Trebuchet MS font in MS Word. Attached is a screencast demonstrating this.
The only solution to this problem is to use the Arial Unicode MS, MS Gothic or other fonts containing Korean characters. Please accept our apologies for not being helpful this time.
Thanks,
Sergi
