Print row headers on every page on export/printing

created 18 years ago

The suggestion ID:A450 is implemented only for column headers. We need the row headers to be printed on every page too, when the grid is split by pages horizontally.

Hi,
We've prepared a workaround for this problem: How to create a custom exporter for the PivotGridControl by using the XtraReport suite. It will solve the issue for the current version. Please note this solution requires XtraReports
Thanks,
Ivan

UPDATED:
We implemented the PrintRowAreaOnEveryPage option starting with version 18.1. Please refer to the "Print Row Headings on Every Page" section of the What's New v18.1 article for more details.

It's now been TEN YEARS since the issue was raised and still no implementation. This is a make-or-break feature, what use is the grid if it cannot be properly printed or exported?  Is the implementation at least planned?

        Hi Eduardo,
We do not have immediate plans to introduce this functionality. However, we have prepared a workaround in the How to create a custom exporter for the PivotGridControl by using the XtraReport suite example for the time being. I suggest that you give it a try and let me know if you have any difficulties with its implementation. We will be happy to help you resolve them.
