Description:
I'm trying to access the value of a RepositoryItemLookUpEdit object when the value is changed during runtime, but I cannot find the right property. I've looked for the EditValue property, but a repository item does not have it.
Answer:
A repository item is an editor's Properties object. It does not hold an edit value. The actual editor is passed as the sender parameter to the repository item events. Another way to obtain the editor is to use the GridView.ActiveEditor property. Once you get an editor instance, you can use its EditValue property. If the editor is closed, please use the GridView.GetRowCellValue method as described in the Obtaining and Setting Cell Values topic in the XtraGrid help.
