Can I use the grid on an inherited form or user control?

Description:
Is it possible to use form inheritance with an XtraGrid control on the parent form?

Answer:
The XtraGrid supports visual form inheritance. You should change access modifiers (the Modifiers design-time property) of the GridControl, GridView and objects such as bands, columns and repository items to Public or Protected. If you have a specific issue with using the grid on inherited forms/user controls, please create a sample project and send it to the Support Team.
