Chart throws the "Cannot read property 'valueOf' of null" error when a discrete axis has null values

Hello,
we are facing a problem with the chart control when having discrete axis and null values. Have a look at the following sample and find the error in the console.
Error: ERROR TypeError: Cannot read property 'valueOf' of null

Null values were handled correctly in prior versions.

    Hello Jan,

    Thank you for the sample. I changed the DevExtreme version to v.18.2.9 and this error doesn't appear. So I need additional time for detailed research. We will update this ticket when we have any results.

    We have addressed the issue described in this ticket and will include a fix in our next maintenance update. Should you need to apply our fix prior to official release, you can request a hotfix here.

    Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for betas/updates set for release within a week.

    Additional information:

    The issue re-appeared in the latest version 20.2.7

        It looks like this bug has been reintroduced in a recent version. Here is a new example:
        DevExtreme Demo (csb.app)
        The behavior is the same as described before: When you have a discrete axis with NULL values, you get a JS error "Cannot read property 'valueOf' of null".
