Hi,
the cursor is constantly flickering if you move it over the resize area of a column header (see attached video). I noticed the same problem with the grid view in v12.2, but it seems to be fixed with v15.1. However the tree list was not fixed.
Best regards,
Tobias
Hello,
From what I gather, you are using bands but it is unclear how you build such a layout. A band cannot be placed under two bands at once (Mass is under Mean radius and Volume).
In any case, I cannot reproduce the cursor flickering on my side with v15.1.8 TreeList. Please see the attached video and the project. Please modify it so that it replicates your scenario.
We look forward to your reply.
In my projects I don't use any bands. The video is from your demo "Banded Layout", so I have no idea how you guys did that ;)
Anyhow, the problem occurs with all your demos, the sample project and any other project that we are using. So it seems to me to be a general problem, not related to configuration. I cannot view your video though since VLC seems to have problems with it and Flash is disabled by our IT-department.
I suppose you need a good PC to see the problem. I didn't realize the problem until I got a new PC. I tried to analyze the problem with a profiler, but it just seems that the tree list and the control are fighting over who can set the cursor (see attached image).
Hello Tobias,
I've tested the demo (and also the sample project Andrew provided), however the mouse doesn't flicker as in your video. I also did not find tickets in our support center with a similar issue and currently cannot exactly determine the cause of this behavior. Perhaps the cause of this issue can be a remote connection. Do you use one? If not, would you please create a sample project, which reproduces the issue and send it to us for further investigation? It will allow us to find a precise solution for you.
Hi,
Thank you for the additional information. I've reproduced this behavior and passed this ticket to our R&D team for further research.
We will get back to you once we make progress.
