SearchControl - Search does not work after clicking an item from the MRU list when the control is located on the toolbar

created 9 years ago

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T316517: SearchControl - How to use MRU?]
The search is not automatically getting fired after selecting an item from the MRU list.  How can I get it to fire after selecting an item from the MRU list?

    Hello,

Did you set the SearchControl.Property.AllowAutoApply property to False? If so, the search will be performed only after clicking the search button. If not, I cannot reproduce the behavior you have described. Attached is a sample that illustrates my attempts to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. Would you please modify it to demonstrate the shortcoming? This information will allow us to find a suitable solution quickly.
I am looking forward to your reply.

It seems to be only happening when inside a tool bar.  Please see updated attached project that illustrates this.
