The FullTextSearch action does not respond to the Enter key after the Clear button is clicked

created 9 years ago

Hello,

there is a weired behavior of the FullTextSearch-Action. To reproduce this in the MainDemo:

- open the Contact_Listview
- type "Ni" in the textbox of the FullTextSearch-Action and hit Enter - the action is executed
- click the Delete-Button of the FullTextSearch-Action and without clicking elsewhere type "Te" in the textbox of the FullTextSearch-Action (which still has the focus) and hit Enter: now the action is not executed

        Hello Olaf,

I have checked the MainDemo (version 16.1.7) according to the provided steps and it works fine for me. See the attached video illustrating my attempts to reproduce the behavior. Have I missed any steps to reproduce the behavior? We are looking forward to your feedback.

        Thanks,
        Marina

          Hello Marina,
please try it with MainDemo.Win.exe (not MainDemo.Win.Ribbon.exe)…

Thank you for the clarification. I was able to reproduce this behavior and created a separate ticket: RepositoryItemButtonEdit placed in the Bar does not raise the KeyDown event after the Delete button is clicked. Our developers will further research and we will update that thread as soon as we make any progress.

            Thanks,
            Marina
