Table on the second page of the attached document is not rendered correctly while scrolling the document in RichEditControl

created 9 years ago

Hi I have a docx document I can open the file then I see an image and some text on the right side of the image plus three tables.

If I open this file with Devexpress then  the text near the image is set vertical instead of horizontal this cannot be changed, then the length of the file is two pages the last page shows on the end the last table, (this should be on top of page two.

If I select the image (right mouse then copy) open a image editor then normally I can paste this image now nothing happen

If I open this file in Word then I can copy the image and table 3 is shown on top, and the text near the image is shown correct

I attach the file

        Hi,

We have researched this issue and found that the provided file contains a description of the textbox for modern and old Microsoft Word versions. And our RichEditControl and Microsoft Word 2013 read the description for modern versions, but Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Word 2003 read the description for old versions. And this is why the textbox is vertically oriented in our RichEditControl and Microsoft Word 2013. At present, there is no way to use the description of the textbox for old versions while our RichEditControl renders a document. We are on the way to fix the problem illustrated in the provided document that the table in the second page is not displayed instantly. Also, as I can see from the provided screenshots, the free space between an image and a table is correct in our RichEditControl and the fact that Microsoft Word 2013 renders this free space differently is related to the fact that there are two different descriptions and we can't take into account both of them. I hope you will find this information helpful.
If you need further assistance, let me know. I'll do my best to help you.
