Floating images inserted via API are not aligned correctly when the RelativeHorizontalPosition property equals the Character value

created 9 years ago

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T217259: InsertPicture under Caret]
I'm trying this same thing using the WinForms control and version 15.1, but my image always aligns along the left margin. Anything I need to change with the code to make it work on v15.1 WinForms?

    Hello Miles,
You are right, setting the RelativeHorizontalPosition property to the ShapeRelativeHorizontalPosition.Character  value operates incorrectly in the case of floating images in the RichEditControl document.
I have reproduced this issue on my side and passed this ticket to our developers for further research.
Please bear with us. We will notify you as soon as we make any progress.
