ASPxHtmlEditor - Container element(s) is removed after changing the YouTube video properties

created 9 years ago (modified 9 years ago)

Hello,

Another bug I've noticed with the Design editing mode:

  1. Open http://demos.devexpress.com/ASPxHTMLEditorDemos/Features/InsertMediaContent.aspx
  2. Switch to HTML and paste the following content:
    <div style="padding:10px; background: red"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yKC6XmsLWVQ"></iframe></div>
  3. Go back to Design and double-click the video to invoke the Change Video dialog.
  4. Click OK in the dialog, you don't even have to change anything. The red container div will disappear. In my use case this container is a custom block having special meaning (it's a conditional content block), so its removal ruins the document markup and I can no longer restore my custom tags properly on the server side after this change :(

PS: I've seen this in Chrome 46 (not sure whether this is important).
