In-line image is clipped on the current page instead of being moved to the next page when it does not fit into the available page size

created 9 years ago (modified 9 years ago)

When using the Rich Edit control how images are deal with has changed.  In 14.1.7 when two very large images were inserted, which would cause the second to partialy drop off of the end of the page then it was automatically moved on to a second page so that it could be seen in its entirity (image of this entitled previously.png).  Since upgrading to version 15.1.4 this no longer happens and the second image hangs over the bottom of the page and so can't be seen in its entirity (image entitled currently.png).

This is cauing an issue for us as when we programatically load a html file into a control and then save it as a PDF this formatting is carried through and large chunks of an image can be lost.

This incorrect behavior only occurs on the last page of the document.  For example if you insert four large images into a document, the document will contain 3 pages, the first two with one image on each as expected and the last with two images where the last has its bottom cut off.
